Bloomingdale, IL - Local podiatrist, Dr. Joseph Borreggine, recently attended the Annual Illinois Podiatric Medical Association (IPMA) Meeting in Bloomingdale, IL on Sept 14-15, 2012. He and about 200 of his colleagues attended educational lectures and took part in electing the new IPMA board for the 2012-2013 year. Dr. Borreggine was nominated by the current IPMA board as their past president to serve a three year term on the Illinois Podiatry Licensing Section of the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IFPR). After a scheduled interview with the IDPR director, Dr. Borreggine will be appointed by Illinois Governor Pat Quinn to serve his term and will work with the other members on the licensing board to mediate and review alleged complaints and provide disciplinary action if necessary. Dr. Borreggine practices in Charleston and Effingham, IL.
